Find a Fueling Station

If you have an FFV, or you’ve succeeded in making your vehicle flex-fuel capable, congratulations! You’re primed (ha, engine joke) to take your commitment to cleaner fuel to the next level by finding a station that sells E85 or other ethanol blends. Many stations around the country are enjoying success offering E85 to customers. Click here to read some of their stories.

To help you find these and other alt-fuel retailers, two good websites have interactive “locator” functions:

  1. The U.S. Department of Energy’s Alternative Fuels Data Center site. This database not only shows you where to find E85, but where to find an electric charging station, biodiesel, hydrogen, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG) and propane.
  1. E85Prices.com. At e85prices.com you can not only find stations near you, you can compare prices at stations in your area, and submit new prices to help keep the crowdsourced database current. You can also check the national average price, and the average difference between E85 and gasoline. Even better, there’s a smartphone app you can take with you on the go.
